First time to Leyland Baptist? Here is what you can expect:
We are a small and friendly group who welcomes all people for worship and fellowship. The services are lead by one of the members or the pastor who will arrange the hymns to be sung and the overall look and feel of the service for the day. The band to accompany the hymns is modern contemporary which provides a great joyful sound for us to sing along to.
The sermon will be according to our current topic. Currently in 2014 we are looking at Marks Gospel with bi-monthly youth style Sunday mornings looking at some of the Big Questions in life currently 'Is the Bible true?' and 'Creation - How did we get here?'
You will see people of all ages and stages of life. You will also see a variety of attire, from blue jeans to coats and ties. Our doors are open to everyone.
When you arrive, look for a greeter at the entrance, they will be looking for you. Please let them know if you need any assistance or information. You will find someone there to direct you or answer any questions you may have.
If your children are ready to visit a Sunday School class then this is held every Sunday morning from 11:00-12:00 AM just after the first part of the service which starts at 10:30. We have our children’s' Sunday Clubs: a crèche, a primary school aged group called 'powerpack' and a teenage group. Sometimes these groups may also meet as one large group and there are family services on the first Sunday of each month when the whole church stays together for the full service.
So please come along, we are happy to answer any questions you may have and help you on the road that God meant for you.
